About The Position

The Spacecraft Harness Engineering Intern at Millennium Space Systems will support one or more programs by creating and/or revising engineering data projects that directly aid each effort. Delivering these data products will help the Harness team meet its contractual obligations to the programs. Over the course of our 10-12 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to: Support the update and/or generation harness schematic diagrams, wire diagrams, and wire harness assembly drawings using our Electrical Computer Aided Design Tool (Siemen's Capital) Support the update and/or generation of other engineering artifacts, such as harness documents (test procedures, analysis, etc.) Support the definition and documentation of signal connectivity through cross functional coordination with system, subsystem, and product engineers for spacecraft harness Learn and grasp basic engineering Product Life Cycle Tools (JIRA/Teamcenter) and Engineering Resource Planning Tools (Costpoint) This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, related technical discipline considered, such as Physics or Computer Science
  • Experience with basic wiring and/or electrical circuits from coursework (e.g. Breadboard circuits, Arduinos, etc.)
  • Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
  • These positions must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Additionally, some positions may require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance. Additionally, applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance.
