Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) / Space Mission Systems (SMS) has an exciting opportunity for a Spacecraft Assembly Integration & Test Manager to join our Common Products team in El Segundo, California. Position Responsibilities: Manages Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads performing business management activities in the area of Program Management. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Supports Common Products & Satellite Factory Integration Organization initiatives such as Driving Common Products Architecture, Common Products Catalog & Roadmap, Improving Profitability, and New Business campaigns. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • Experience working as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) using Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience generating budgets, working with program health metrics, and critical path analysis
  • Experience working with Spacecraft Assembly Integration & Test
  • This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
