About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Space Systems Test Engineer to support a classified DoD program in El Segundo, CA. The team is seeking a systems engineer to perform hardware and software verification tests of space systems and subsystems for a critical mission. Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI Location: El Segundo, CA (100% on-site) Shift: Second shift (2PM-10:30PM) This job opens for applications on 11/6/2025. Requirements

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Bachelors of Science in engineering, engineering technology, STEM
3-5+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment, instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies
3-5+ years experience performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronics equipment, hardware, and software
Experience working in a lab or production environment
Experience in software tools based in C#

Responsibilities

Contributes to the creation and validation of test methodologies.
Executes comprehensive test procedures, including defining instrumentation and configurations to reduce risk within the parameters of the test plan.
Develops targeted solutions for calibration system issues with limited scope and impact.
Designs test hardware, software, and systems to meet specified testing requirements.
Processes, analyzes, and formats data in alignment with customer specifications.
Evaluates test data-including anomalies-for accuracy, quality, and fidelity prior to customer delivery.
Compiles and publishes test reports to document outcomes and fulfill requirements.
Communicates test results to internal stakeholders.
Organize and archive test data and reports.
