The Space Management Specialist is responsible for visiting clients to ensure the correct implementation of brands on shelves, according to planograms, space analysis, and established commercial strategies. This includes merchandising, product arrangement, rotation, display, and price verification, ensuring optimal product presentation, compliance with quality standards, and a consistent experience across all points of sale.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with relevant experience, or Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Commercial Design, or related fields (preferred).
  • Previous experience in merchandising, setting, shelf implementation, planograms, or the mass consumption industry.
  • Experience in reading and implementing planograms, layouts, and shelf space analysis.
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques, rotation, and inventory.
  • Ability to move, lift, and arrange merchandise.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner, following instructions and meeting implementation deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid and current Driver's License in Puerto Rico.
  • Own transportation.
  • Full availability and willingness to travel between different clients and routes.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Commercial Design, or related fields.
  • Experience using applications or systems for reports, photographic evidence, and execution audits.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned clients daily to implement brands on shelves according to planograms and analyses.
  • Execute product arrangements, layout changes, space redistribution, and shelf organization in line with the company's commercial strategies.
  • Perform product rotation.
  • Arrange and distribute merchandise from the warehouse to the shelves and secondary displays.
  • Implement POP material, labels, talkers, pricing cards, displays, and special promotions.
  • Verify that products are correctly identified, with their labels, prices, and corresponding location.
  • Review and follow up on special items, promotions, launches, and seasonal products.
  • Validate that shelf implementations comply with plans, category analysis, space participation, and brand guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in arrangement, inventory, space, or brand visibility.
  • Manage available inventory on shelves and in the warehouse, notifying of shortages, excess inventory, or misplaced products.
  • Ensure that products comply with the quality, safety, and presentation standards established by the company.
  • Provide support to the sales team and maintain daily communication with the assigned salesperson.
  • Inform the Supervisor of any problems, deviations, or situations observed at clients.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and activities related to visual merchandising, planograms, and point-of-sale execution.
