About The Position

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Spa with the support of the Assistant Spa Director and the Director of Spa & Wellness. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Training Facilitate all onboarding training for new Spa Concierge and Facilitator candidates. Ongoing training for Concierge and Facilitator teams for Forbes Standards, treatments and daily operations. Complete weekly service audits and role plays. Ensure the Spa Concierge and Facilitator team supports and consistently executes the Salamander Vision, Brand Promise and Core Values. Systems Continuously review, update and implement the necessary Spa Operations SOP’s, checklists, and logs ensuring that all standards are met. Assist with managing the maintenance for the Spa Reception, Salon and Facilities indoor and outdoor. Manage office supply orders and internal requisitions through BirchStreet. Review Book4Time for potential VIP's. Assist with managing the online appointment requests. Spa Operations Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the Spa Reception and Facility areas. Assist with group bookings as assigned by Assistant Spa Director. Assist with MOD shifts and complete the necessary tasks as outlined by the MOD Log. Guest Service Recovery & Elevating the Guest Experience. The Spa Supervisor will cover concierge shifts as needed. Ensure that all Spa Concierges and Facilitators are following the Forbes Five Star standards on a daily basis. Follow up on spa inquiries, special requests and VIPs. Ensure the Spa Concierge and Facilitator teams are completing their opening/closing duties. Assign weekly and monthly tasks to Spa Concierge and Facilitator teams and ensure they are complete. Assist with special events as needed. Complete projects, tasks and staff requests in a timely manner. Human Resources Assist with handling all staff’s misconduct and/or irresponsibility. Will be responsible for assisting with timely documentation and the discipline of the staff members in accordance with progressive discipline procedures outlined in company and with the support of the Director of Spa and Assistant Spa Director. Inventory Work with Assistant Spa Director on maintaining adequate stock levels for guest, office, linen, and operation supplies. Liaise with the Director of Spa & Wellness on retail initiatives and incentives. Responsible for driving Retail Sales amongst the Spa Concierge team. Assist with receiving, restocking and merchandising of retail products. Assist with monthly inventory count as requested by the Assistant Spa Director. Meetings Attends Resort/Departmental Meetings/Trainings as and when is necessary Attend spa management meeting when scheduled Support the Spa Operation Manager with facilitating and scheduling bi-monthly Spa Concierge/Spa Facilitators meetings Conduct monthly Spa Staff Meetings aswellas daily lineups for Spa Concierge Team. Planning and Preparation Special guests, and VIP’s Relevant issues, statistics and planning Complete projects, tasks and staff requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous Spa/Hospitality experience
  • Customer care or relations experience
