About The Position

The Spa Supervisor (Part-Time) assists in leading and managing a team of spa staff, including estheticians, massage therapists, nail technicians, and spa specialists. This role is crucial for maintaining MCR’s reputation for luxury and excellence by ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. The supervisor oversees daily spa operations, manages staff scheduling, and handles guest inquiries and feedback. They also play a key role in training and mentoring new team members, monitoring performance, and collaborating with spa management on service protocols. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for inventory management, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, and contributing to sales goals by promoting spa services. The supervisor is expected to be the face of MCR for new hires and team members, exemplifying MCR’s values and demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 1 (One) year of a supervisory or management role within a luxury spa or high-end hospitality environment.
  • 2 (Two) years Customer service experience required.
  • Proficiency in using spa management software and computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Cosmetology or Esthetician License through WA state DOL highly preferred!
  • Hospitality experience a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Assist in leading and managing a team of spa staff, including estheticians, massage therapists, nail technicians, and spa specialists.
  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining the MCR’s reputation for luxury and excellence.
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for all spa services and appointments.
  • Train, onboard, and mentor new team members.
  • Assist in monitoring and assessing staff performance, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with spa management to develop and implement service protocols, standards, and procedures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the spa, including managing appointment schedules, reservations, and walk-in clients.
  • Monitor inventory levels of products, supplies, and equipment, and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in promoting spa services and packages to guests, contributing to sales goals.
  • Maintain a strong rapport with clients, building long-term relationships and addressing their needs.
  • Participate in staff recruitment and selection as needed.
  • Strive to continuously elevate the spa's reputation by providing exceptional experiences and services.
  • Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment.
  • Promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
