Spa Receptionist
About The Position
LaPlaya's Spa Team is looking for an efficient, courteous, and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the newly renovated spa at the resort. In this role you will be scheduling treatments for guests and members, processing payments for services, supporting the sales of our fabulous line of products, while ensuring that the Spa lobby is kept impeccable in appearance and cleanliness. From the time a guest walks into the spa, the receptionist will help to create an environment where a guest feels they are pampered and taken care of, by offering refreshments, walking them to the locker room and getting them set up with the appropriate attire so they can enjoy the full experience of the treatment. As a member of the Spa Team, you will ensure that the retail area is stocked visually supporting the sale of products to guests.
Requirements
- Previous receptionist experience preferably in a spa or salon environment
- Customer service and/or retail experience
- Willingness to learn on-the-job
- Experience in working on a POS/Scheduling system is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with guests and team members
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., while standing, bending and squatting.
