About The Position

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Manicurist (on-call) to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Manicurist will be responsible for providing exceptional nail services to guests and provide product knowledge and service recommendations.

Requirements

• Aspire to our values of being passionate, strive for excellence, remain relevant, collaborate and act with honor and integrity
• 2 years of professional nail tech experience
• Valid State cosmetic license
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands: Standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and half kneeling for cleaning.
• Lifting and carrying towels, carrying gallon container of product, and overhead reaching

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nail care services such as manicures and pedicure treatments
• Daily set up, stocking, cleaning of workspaces, and dispensary
• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
• Communicate relevant information.
• Superior communication skills and professionalism.
• Handle opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and professional work area
• Promote all treatments and products offered in the Spa & Salon
• Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
