The Spa Houseperson is responsible deep cleaning areas within the spa and outdoor pools neat, clean and well stocked with all amenities.

Requirements

Communication- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, members and the general public.
Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Customer Focus - Ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships; actively seeking information to understand and address customers' needs.
High Work Standards - Sets high standards of performance; assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.

Must be flexible enough to work a variety shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience required.
Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must
Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest
While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to consistently stand, walk, squat, use hand to write, talk, hear, see, taste, smell.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move at least 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include distance vision and peripheral vision.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Minimum one-year experience providing customer service in a high-end fitness center or luxury spa environment, a plus

Responsibilities

Be on time for each shift and flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
Clean treatment rooms and public spaces using a vacuum cleaner, broom, cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents.
Empty trash throughout the spa, wiping down trash cans as needed.
Pick up and restock towels, straighten chairs throughout the indoor and outdoor pool areas.
Break down coffee and water stations after the spa and fitness center have closed.
Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the facility.
Clean steam rooms and saunas nightly
Engage with guests and actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Possess ability to work without direct supervision.
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with company standards.
