About The Position

The Spa Host/Attendant is the key ambassador for our luxury spa experience, this role ensures seamless coordination of front desk, spa facilities, and retail operations while delivering exceptional, personalized service. The Spa Host/Attendant anticipates guest needs, creates a welcoming environment, and upholds the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality, spa, or wellness environment preferred.
  • Proven background in high-end customer service, appointment scheduling, and retail sales.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion for high-profile guests.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced luxury setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa management software.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid Clark County Health Card.
  • Valid Las Vegas Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM Card).
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Requires prolonged sitting or standing, mobility, bending and reaching.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a serene, fragrance-rich environment with varying temperatures.
  • Maintain a polished appearance in accordance with luxury brand standards.
  • Ability to and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums and other instructions.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
  • Requires eye/hand coordination.
  • Requires use of standard office equipment.
  • Requires basic math, with the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.

  • Familiarity with spa treatments, wellness concepts, and premium product lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a personalized welcome experience for guests, ensuring comfort and privacy.
  • Manage spa reservations, confirm appointments, and assist guests in selecting premium services.
  • Maintain knowledge of luxury spa treatments, wellness programs, and retail offerings.
  • Handle boutique sales with expertise in product features and benefits.
  • Ensure spa areas are immaculate and stocked with high-quality amenities.
  • Escort guests to treatment rooms and relaxation areas with grace and professionalism.
  • Monitor guest safety and comfort throughout their visit.
  • Assist with inventory management and product ordering for luxury retail items.
  • Support training of new associates to uphold luxury service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Spa Management Team.
