Your role as Spa Facilities Attendant is critical to delivering on this promise. As Spa Facilities Attendant, you are expected to exceed guest expectations by creating “picture perfect” guest experiences. You will achieve excellence by cleaning and maintaining the facility throughout your shift in addition to operating the pools, saunas, steams rooms, pool deck and outdoor areas for safe guest use. Requirements

Able to lift, move, and handle pool chemicals responsibly
Good judgment around safety and guest experience
Comfortable with technology and open to new learning

Nice To Haves

Previous Spa or Hotel maintenance experience preferred
WHIMIS, First Aid (including CPR)

Responsibilities

Spends most of each shift in operations delivering quality 1st impressions on the grounds, pool decks; and in outbuildings, and public areas
Maintains a safe and clean pool deck; by organizing and picking up furniture, towels, robes, and debris. By maintaining washing schedule (see checklist)
Completes washing schedules assigned or outlined in daily checklists (see checklist)
Taking and testing water samples to monitor pool water chemistry and making adjustments to maintain the quality standards
Checks that pool filtration system is in good working condition at prescribed times throughout shift (see daily schedule/checklist)
Prevents minor maintenance issues from becoming major issues by promptly addressing all assigned maintenance work orders
Reports/logs all maintenance issues immediately that are beyond the skill set of the employee to fix on their own
Cleaning, clearing, and maintaining all outdoor walkways, pathways, and green spaces
Assigned tasks are completed in a manner that does not usually require follow up; both in terms of timeliness and quality
Completing work processes and checklists seamlessly support the Spa value that we respect our guest’s inherent desire to be at peace
Personal communication, interactions and behaviors support the Spa value that everyone is welcome and everyone is equal
Contributes to a collaborative workplace; supporting the Spa value of community, common goals and acceptance
