About The Position

The Security Analyst is responsible for the protection of the data and infrastructure utilized by CFS Brands and supported facilities. This position will function as the initial point of contact for the acknowledgment and investigation of cyber security alerts and incidents. This includes being the primary cyber security team member responsible for managing the security ticket queue, the team member responsible for creating and updating all cyber security standard operating procedures for handling each type of alert and incident, and this role will be responsible for managing the cyber security server patch management process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CompTIA Security+ training
  • Route/Switch training
  • One year of increasing responsibility in supporting/managing complex IT systems.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • O365 Administration experience.
  • SIEM Administration.
  • Mimecast Administration.
  • KnowB4 Administration.
  • Familiar with writing company policies.
  • Up to 20% travel to support multiple operating locations and corporate initiatives across the US and Mexico, with potential travel to Europe

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of experience with security information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned security operations incidents and providing technical assistance when necessary.
  • Responsible for evaluating existing systems and providing technical direction to customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing CFS Brands security systems and procedures to improve utilization or propose revision(s) of infrastructure operations.
  • Responsible for establishing processes and the execution of configuration, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and security management tools.
  • Accountable for communicating with personnel from various areas including staff, vendors, and department leadership to exchange information concerning security.
  • Responsible for applying a security framework and ensuring compliance from the business, vendors, and contractors.
  • Responsible for representing security during any Acquisition and Divestiture activity.
  • Responsible for recommending enhancements to the security infrastructure.
  • Accountable for monitoring compliance with applicable internal and external security and data protection policies.
  • Accountable for managing the security ticket queue and being the initial security team member to investigate and/or escalate alerts and incidents.
  • Administration of FortiSiem, EDR, XDR, Mimecast, KnowB4, and O365 Security and Compliance or similar tools.
  • Travel to local sites and occasionally to remote sites to support corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for performing related duties as assigned.
