About The Position

Guard, patrol, and monitor client properties to prevent theft, violence and/or violations of building properties.

Requirements

• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote security operations for the protection of people, property, and data
• Understanding of customer service principles and the ability to apply them on a routine basis to promote satisfactory customer relations
• Functional understanding of how to respond in emergency or unusual situations
• Excellent oral/written communication, time management, and organization
• In-depth knowledge of all assigned site security positions and post assignments
• Ability to constructively give/receive direction, criticism, and instruction
• Ability to communicate to a diverse population
• Familiar with CCTV and other security technology present at site
• Knowledge of facility mechanical/electronic equipment

Responsibilities

• Patrol premesis to detect and prevent unwanted activity
• Consistently enforce all company, client, and building policies and procedures
• Ensure safety and security of all building occupants and property
• Maintain professional demeanor and excellent service delivery
• Document and report all irregularities in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency and unusual situations as necessary or directed
• Complete safety/incident reports as required in accordance with written policy
• Performs as a team player to support co-workers, supervisors, and management
• Perform other duties as directed by Black Knight Security management
