Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment
• Strong culinary foundation with a passion for quality ingredients, technique, and presentation
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse culinary team
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, kitchen operations, and cost control
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• A commitment to excellence, professionalism, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Sous Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including production, staffing, and quality control
• Lead, train, and mentor culinary team members to foster skill development, teamwork, and engagement
• Ensure consistent execution of menus, recipes, and plating standards across all service periods
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies
• Support menu development, tastings, and seasonal offerings with creativity and attention to detail
• Monitor inventory, food costs, and waste to support budgetary and sustainability goals
• Step into leadership during the Executive Chef’s absence, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction
