About The Position

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at the Richard DeShantz Restaurant Group. Multiple locations could be considered. The ideal candidate is a committed leader who is highly organized and hard-working. They have a proven track record of improving kitchen operations and developing staff members. They will typically be leading service five nights per week in tandem with the Chef de Cuisine, developing a strong BOH team, and assisting with overseeing fiancials and cost of goods.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a leadership position of a high volume kitchen
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Understanding of P&L statements, and ability to budget for BOH purchases and labor
  • Ability to identify and develop talent within the team
  • Passion for excellence and superior service standards
  • A positive attitude with a teamplayer attitude
  • Must be able to bend, stand, and move for entire shift
