About The Position

Piedmont Driving Club is seeking a Sous Chef for the Park Room (PM) in our main clubhouse. In this role, you will serve as a key leader within our à la carte culinary team, preparing elegant, upscale, and exceptional meals for our members. You have a passion for great food and take pride in upholding the club’s high standards while consistently exceeding expectations. As a leader, you will supervise and support your team, ensuring a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment. You will guide kitchen staff in following recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest levels of quality, consistency, and timeliness in every dish served.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and professional cooking
  • Experience with a la carte food prep and production
  • Strong knife skills
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Food safety certification preferred
  • college degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare items according to standard recipes
  • Ensure safety and compliance in the kitchen to ensure safe, sanitary food-handling practices
  • Manages food production including menu writing and development, ordering, costing, recipe creation, execution, and employee supervision for all Park Room kitchen staff
