About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a driven and experienced Sous Chef to support retail food service operations at Kaiser Permanente in Antioch, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on culinary leader who is passionate about fresh, high‑quality food, efficient service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver an exceptional dining experience while upholding Sodexo’s standards for food safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges . What You'll Do Support day‑to‑day culinary operations for retail food venues, ensuring consistent quality, speed of service, and customer satisfaction Partner with the Executive Chef to execute menus, recipes, and promotions that meet Sodexo and Kaiser Permanente standards Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and infection control compliance in a high‑visibility retail environmentLead, train, and supervise culinary staff to ensure efficient execution during peak meal periods Assist with ordering, inventory control, food cost management, and waste reduction What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
