Want to work with highly motivated individuals on high-performance teams? Join WWT today! We are looking for a Sourcing Professional to help support our Global Order Operations team. Job Summary: Represents WWT in negotiating run-rate agreements with suppliers: Secures best solution at the best price for WWT Applies established procurement methodologies and negotiation tactics Redlines contract documents and negotiates language to effectively mitigate risk to WWT Analyzes internal and external data and benchmarks to define negotiation targets Develops deal-specific negotiation strategies to optimize deal value to WWT Spearheads the project management of deals throughout the negotiation lifecycle: Collaborates effectively to lead efforts of cross functional high performance teams Leverages workflow management, contract management and other systems/tools to facilitate successful execution Communicates effectively  to drive cross-functional collaboration Communicates regularly with internal stakeholders to provide to evaluate procurement needs, develop negotiation strategy, and faciliate vendor selection process Summarizes negotiation progress and effectively tells the story of the deal Frames messaging appropriately for consumption by applicable audience (front line members of business all the way to senior leadership)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, supply chain, or related field (a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field
  • Requires at least 3 years of prior experience in sourcing  related role.
  • Proven track record of delivering results through process development and governance oversight
  • Core functional/technical skills required include: Business partnership & consulting; contracting; multi-tasking and prioritization; negotiation and influence; relationship management; system thinking; technical communication/presentation
  • Additional functional/technical skills required include: data analysis; sourcing skills, category knowledge; WWT knowledge; job specific software
  • Basic understanding of technical subject matter inherent in hardware, software, and services categories
  • This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver customer delight
  • The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, through and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands

  • Manages a portfolio of deals that are primarily focused on speed of delivery
  • Negotiates for established needs with moderate risk potential
  • Collaborates across all phases of supplier lifecycle to drive HPT

  • Navigates unstructured and ambigous situations with flexibility and confidence
  • Applies superior critical thinking skills to identify solutions to difficult problems
  • Learns and adapts when tackling problems in an ambigous environment
