About The Position

This position with Canteen One is responsible for the sourcing, negotiation, and selection of the supply base for National Accounts. The role ensures the analysis, accuracy, and integrity of new and existing products, as well as proper system set-up. Success in this position is achieved through effective coordination of vendor relationships, logistics, analytics, communication, and project management in support of client-driven programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with three (3) years of relevant business experience or a Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) with two (2) years of business experience
  • Experience in marketing, project management, operations, and/or account management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term, positive internal and external relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Professional composure with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • Strong software proficiency, including Microsoft Word and intermediate-level Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to apply sound judgment and decision-making
  • One (1) year of JD Edwards (ERP) experience or equivalent systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Procurement and sourcing experience preferred; knowledge of Office Coffee and Pantry Services (OCS) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vendors and National Account Managers to ensure compliance with client-driven programs and contractual requirements
  • Build, maintain, and sustain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers
  • Conduct in-depth industry and market analysis to provide proactive insight and recommendations for sourcing strategies
  • Lead efforts to integrate new products, programs, and initiatives into customer portfolios
  • Create, manage, and distribute weekly new product lists for pantry National Accounts
  • Monitor, track, and report savings and costs for all sourcing projects
  • Create and maintain data to track program compliance and supplier performance
  • Communicate recommendations regarding changes, improvements, or discontinuation of existing products
  • Address and resolve escalated customer service and supplier-related issues
  • Assist with National Account new client roll-out meetings and onboarding processes
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, social business functions, and relevant association conferences as needed
