Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Assessment: Assess potential suppliers to ensure they conform to category, supply chain, and product strategies and meet the company’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure security of supply, commercial appropriateness, and risk management to generate mutually beneficial agreements that will deliver value for both parties.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Select suppliers to provide direct material within a given category of suppliers who substantially conform to the category strategy, provide commercial favorability and reduce risk.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the portfolio of spend for a given category to include financial performance, plan for every part, and understanding of total supply chain.
  • Commercial Strategy: Analyze total cost structures and implement strategies to reduce procurement risk (financial and otherwise) while maintaining quality and delivery performance to generate best total value for a given category.
