About The Position

The NPI Sourcing Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of new Service Parts at Polaris. This position is responsible for identifying, sourcing, packaging, and stocking service parts ahead of product introductions-maximizing sales potential and elevating customer satisfaction. As a strategic partner to Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Purchasing teams, the Sourcing Lead drives in-stock readiness and reinforces our reputation for reliability and exceptional service. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, strong cross-functional collaboration, and deep expertise in sourcing and supplier management. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or product launch roles, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer products environment.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing principles, supplier management, and inventory planning.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product development, and operations teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PLM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier selection and onboarding, quoting and loading negotiated costs, defining and loading minimum order quantities (MOQs), establishing and loading lead times and delivery schedules, and approving packaging requirements for customer sales.
  • Partner with Purchasing to ensure timely ordering and stocking of service parts at distribution centers, meeting or exceeding launch readiness metrics.
  • Monitor and report on service part readiness and launch performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, clearly communicating service part expectations.
  • Stay informed on supplier manufacturing capabilities and emerging technologies to support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in service part launch processes, tools, and best practices.
