Our commitment to pay range transparency fosters an equitable workplace, where everyone can feel valued. The annual compensation range for this position is stated below. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $68,500.00 - $102,700.00 Purpose Statement: Responsible for performing engineering technical review of parts to ensure manufacturability dependent on supplier technology, tolerances, materials, and cosmetic specification. And for collaborating with Supply Chain and Customers in order to drive lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities within Custom Engineered Components (CEC) sourcing organization.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in parts engineering reviews, tolerance analysis, and stack-up validation, technical reviews of supplier process and parts.
• Understanding of machining capabilities to ensure alignment with component requirements, industry standards, and successful supplier quality audits.
• Strong experience driving KPIs
• Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
• Strong data analysis and Decision-making capabilities
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Project management experience

• Procurement / supply chain competence prefered

Responsibilities

• Perform technical review of parts to ensure manufacturability dependent on supplier technology, tolerances, materials, and cosmetic specification.
• Work directly with the Material Costing and Commodity Management teams to provide technical guidance on supplier selection.
• Identify technology gaps within current supplier portfolio based on RFQ insight or strategic business direction.
• Provide technical expertise and support to business units to ensure product meets customer timelines.
