About The Position

This is a part-time non-exempt position of 8-10 hours per month, working with the Director of Worship Technologies, “Sound team,” and School Music Teacher to enhance the experience of those attending school related functions. This employee will monitor and operate Audio, Video, Lighting, Streaming and Recording equipment in the sanctuary during rehearsals and performances.

Requirements

Works well under pressure and with time constraints
Comfortable with technology
Proficient with current computer software
A great attitude and a willingness to learn
Good time management skills
A personal faith in Jesus Christ that informs a sense of vocation

Nice To Haves

Previous audio/visual experience preferred, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

Set up and operate Sound Light and Video (SLV) equipment for chapel, rehearsals, and other Ascension Lutheran Church and School sponsored events
Church and School sponsored events include, but are not limited to school Christmas and spring productions, three worship services each weekend, weekly chapel services, choir and praise band rehearsals, Great Music at Ascension concerts and rehearsals, weddings, memorial services.
