About The Position

Receives, sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines the suitability and pricing of items against established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the store and the sorting room. Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• No prior experience required or One year of experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recives, inspects, and sorts donated items such as clothes, shoes, household items, bric-a-brac, etc.
• Tags items with specially coded tickets and/ or prices in accordance with established procedures
• Packs items in boxes and marks boxes accordingly.
• Prepares non suitable clothes for the baler.
• Maintains warehouse area in a neat and orderly manner, places and arranges items in the store as directed, checks all store displays to ensure that items are maintained and displayed in a neat manner, rotates and/or rearranges stock as directed, and returns items to the proper locations.
