About The Position

This facility will be sorting packages into categories, and preparing the items for shipment. Sorters play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of packages to enhance customer reliability and security.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environment
Lifting, carrying, bending, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in sorting or warehouse operations is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Efficiently sort and inspect packages, items into categories based on established criteria
Work closely with team members to meet sorting targets and ensure timely processing
Adhere to safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
All other duties as assigned.
