This full-time Sonography Technologist position is located at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, WI, within the Cardiac Ultrasound Department/Specialty, working day shifts.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to Sonography. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Capture high-fidelity diagnostic images that serve as the foundation for accurate physician interpretation and life-changing patient diagnoses.
  • Navigate complex anatomical structures and pathologies using advanced transducer techniques, ensuring every study meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Safeguard patient well-being by maintaining rigorous safety protocols and performing precise quality control checks on all imaging instrumentation.
  • Master the digital workflow by meticulously managing patient data and image integrity within PACS to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Champion operational excellence by monitoring equipment health and maintaining a pristine clinical environment that reflects our commitment to patient dignity.
