As a Cardiac Sonographer you will complete all functions necessary to perform quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and in some location vascular studies. Essential Functions of the Role: Supports patient care by performing echocardiogram procedures, educating the patient on the process and answering any questions they may have Demonstrates proficiency with the use of ultrasound equipment and associated procedures. Routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians and other health practitioners running efficiently. Appropriately acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician Assures accuracy data for clinical reports, demographics and billing information for physician reports Shows a high degree of judgment and skill in use of sonographic equipment. Ensures that equipment is constantly functional and maintained for immediate use. Maintains records and reports on equipment and procedures performed
