Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, he Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech; performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care. Education and Training: High School Diploma or GED; Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound Licensures/ Certifications: Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year.
