Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana Schedule: PRN | Day Shift – Variable Hours Why You’ll Love This Role At Logan Health, our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB/GYN teams provide compassionate, specialized care to women and families in our community. As a PRN Sonographer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting patients through high-risk pregnancies and specialized gynecologic care. This flexible position ensures continuity of care, reduces delays in scheduling, and provides coverage during vacancies, leaves, and peak volumes. If you are skilled in advanced obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound and want a flexible schedule with a meaningful impact, this role is a great fit.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (required).
  • ARDMS registration (required) or board eligible with registry obtained within six (6) months of hire.
  • Current CPR certification (required).
  • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of general/vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
  • One (1) year of OB/GYN or MFM ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound and imaging procedures in line with departmental protocols and patient care standards.
  • Support patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring physical and emotional comfort during exams.
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and staff to maintain smooth patient flow and timely results.
  • Maintain accountability for policies, protocols, quality standards, and continuing education.
  • Assist with equipment upkeep, supply management, and administrative tasks as needed.
