About The Position

Advance Women’s Health Through Expert Imaging in our OBGYN Practice UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group is seeking a Part-Time Sonographer to join our dedicated OBGYN team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality ultrasound services that support women throughout all stages of their reproductive health journey. Location: Health Innovation Center, Williamsport | UPMC Susquehanna Medical Group | OBGYN Office Schedule: Part-Time (0.75 FTE) | 30 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours, between 7:30am - 4:00pm Sign-on Bonus: $3,000.00 sign-on bonus with a two‑year work commitment for qualified applicants. What You’ll Do Perform a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols. Communicate professionally and clearly with patients, ensuring they understand procedures and feel at ease throughout the exam. Assist providers during procedures when ultrasound guidance is required, adhering strictly to universal protocol standards. Document and code examinations accurately, ensuring proper image storage, labeling, and reporting. Maintain high‑level disinfection practices for probes and equipment in compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize advanced ultrasound technology and demonstrate proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal scanning techniques. Licensure & Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – registered or registry-eligible preferred. Must obtain RDMS within 12 months of hire.
