About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Sonographer to join our growing team. This role supports a high-volume women’s health practice, delivering diagnostic imaging services across multiple locations. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical expertise in OB/GYN and breast imaging, along with a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging examinations using specialized ultrasound equipment to visualize internal organs and tissues, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Minimum 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience in a high-volume clinical setting
  • ARDMS certification required; Breast (BR) certification preferred
  • Candidates without BR certification must have 3-5 years of recent breast sonography experience
  • Strong clinical expertise in obstetric, gynecologic, and breast imaging
  • Proficiency in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and interpreting imaging for clinical support
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and quality-focused approach to patient care
  • Computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office; EHR systems)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NextGen or similar EHR systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Additional certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or applicable state licensure

Responsibilities

  • Ultrasound Imaging Perform OB/GYN and breast ultrasound examinations, including fetal anatomy and development assessments Acquire high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols
  • Patient Care Ensure patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout procedures Provide a professional and compassionate patient experience
  • Clinical Support Analyze images, identify abnormalities, and communicate findings to providers Assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment planning
  • Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records in EHR systems Ensure all imaging meets medical necessity and regulatory standards
  • Equipment & Quality Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment Follow infection control, safety, and sterilization protocols Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices
  • Collaboration Work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff across multiple locations Adapt to rotating schedules coordinated by the Lead Sonographer
