The iconic Little Palm Island is one of a kind. With a selection of 30 luxury suites, a Balinese-style spa, the main attraction is the exclusive waterside fine dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with sunset views and fire pits for enjoying a nightcap. For decades guests have come to experience the exotic destination, award-winning fare, uncompromising service within a luxurious, yet comfortable island atmosphere. With over half of the seats located right on the ocean, The Dining Room seats 100 guests and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, our team serves wine and fine cocktails in the lounge, in-room dining, and caters to small, refined private gatherings. As Sommelier, you will curate and manage the restaurant’s wine list, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection. You will share your expertise with our guests and service staff. Merging your passion for wine with your understanding of fine dining, will allow you creativity flow with wine-parings. Conducting wine tastings and staff training sessions to enhance wine knowledge and service standards is an important component of the position. Your specialized knowledge will allow you to partner with our Executive Chef on daily menu changes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of fine dining and passion for fine wines

  • Ability to stay updated on wine trends, regions, and vintages to keep the wine program current and competitive

  • Passion for sharing wine knowledge to elevate the dining experience of guests
