About The Position

As a Solutions Engineer at GS1 US, you will play a critical role in enabling the technical adoption of GS1 US platforms, APIs, and integrations used by enterprise retailers, marketplaces, distributors, and solution providers. Your work will help ensure our data platforms are implemented in scalable, repeatable ways that reduce friction, accelerate time-to-value, and support long-term ecosystem growth. In short, you will help GS1 US scale the adoption of its Data Hub and platform capabilities by designing and enabling technically sound, repeatable implementations. Your efforts will reduce one-off support, improve customer and partner outcomes, and drive broader enterprise adoption of GS1 data services.

Requirements

  • You are a technically strong problem-solver who enjoys translating complex business requirements into scalable, well-designed technical solutions.
  • You are comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams and can clearly explain implementation approaches, tradeoffs, and best practices.
  • You are analytical and systems-minded, with a natural ability to identify patterns, reduce friction, and design repeatable processes.
  • You take a structured approach to solutioning and are motivated by building frameworks that help others succeed.
  • Your background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related experience, along with 5+ years in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or technical consulting.
  • You have hands-on experience with APIs, data platforms, and SaaS integrations, and you are confident working in cross-functional environments.
