About The Position

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer—a true systems-thinker who thrives on the edge of technology. If you see where standard configurations end, and custom, complex engineering begins, you're the person we need. This role is for those who would rather build a Python script to automate a task once than perform it manually twice. You are a Creator: You will be on the front lines of product development, directly influencing design and leading complex, high-impact integrations typically reserved for senior staff. 360-Degree Growth: You will work across every department—from Sales to Engineering to QA—giving you unparalleled exposure and a complete view of a world-class hardware/software ecosystem. Flexibility & Autonomy: We offer a hybrid work model (including 1 day a week remote after initial ramp-up) and the trust to manage your projects autonomously. Your work will focus on high-impact areas that drive our product and customer success: High-Intensity Problem Solving: Isolate variables in complex, networked systems to find the definitive root cause, not just the symptom. Custom Engineering: Design and implement unique hardware/firmware configurations to meet specialized customer requirements. Automation & Efficiency: Write robust scripts (using Python or other languages) to accelerate and automate our support and engineering processes. Product Advocacy: Act as the crucial bridge between the field and the factory, translating critical customer needs into the next generation of features. First 30 Days: Immersion. Master our "Training Box," dive deep into our core firmware architecture, and shadow our elite Sales Engineering team to pinpoint major customer friction points. By Day 60: Mastery. Become the company's "go-to" expert for complex configurations. Independently resolve 10+ high-level technical escalations and contribute to our central knowledge base. By Day 90: Scaling. Transition from problem-solver to systems-scaler. You will build your first Python-based automation tool to eliminate a key support bottleneck and present a formal product improvement proposal to our Lead Engineers. By the End of Year 1: Technical Authority. Design 5+ custom solutions for Tier 1 clients and establish yourself as a technical leader by training the internal team on critical third-party integrations. We are seeking individuals who embody these values: Systems Thinker: You instinctively connect the dots between hardware, firmware, and software, viewing them as a single cohesive unit. The "Scrappy" Mindset: You are a self-starter who moves forward intelligently even when information is incomplete—you are comfortable with ambiguity. Ownership Beyond Boundaries: You see a roadblock for the team and take the initiative to remove it. Humility First: You treat every project as an education and own your mistakes with the same speed and integrity as your successes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or a related field is required.
  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and technical troubleshooting (hardware/software) skills are essential.
  • Basic scripting experience (Python or similar) is highly preferred, though your ability to learn and deliver results is paramount.
