As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative, scalable solutions that meet both current operational needs and future business opportunities. Requirements

  • A highly analytical, innovative, and collaborative individual with a background in industrial engineering, logistics solution design, or operations engineering. Someone who thrives in high-stakes environments where technical precision meets commercial decision-making.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solutions design, industrial engineering, or logistics engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience applying engineered labor standards (MOST, MTM, or equivalent).
  • Experience building cost and capacity models for logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with RFQ processes and translating customer requirements into operational solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable design recommendations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align engineering solutions with financial objectives.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and presentation skills, including customer-facing interactions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time as needed for business.
  • Read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
  • See both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses).
  • Identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device).
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including occasionally arriving early, staying late on a moment’s notice, and occasional evening and weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with Sales, Pricing, and Center of Excellence to design solutions in response to customer RFQs and new business opportunities.
  • Building engineered labor standards (e.g., MOST, MTM) to accurately define workforce requirements.
  • Developing detailed engineering models that determine facility layouts, equipment specifications, and labor headcounts.
  • Supporting pricing and commercial teams by providing accurate cost modeling and operational assumptions.
  • Designing scalable, efficient solutions that align with Rinchem’s operational capabilities and safety standards.
  • Creating repeatable tools, templates, and models to accelerate solution design for future opportunities.
  • Leading or supporting one-off engineering initiatives as needed for strategic projects or pilots.
