The Solutions Engineer is a hybrid strategic and technical leadership role, responsible for both defining solution architecture and driving program execution for client pilots and deployments. Acting as the end-to-end owner of the solution lifecycle, this person will ensure that technical design, cross-functional delivery, and customer outcomes are seamlessly integrated.
This role will partner with functional experts across Asset, Network, Data, and Consumption (ANDC) domains, as well as partner with Product, Customer Success, Delivery and Sales teams. They will bring together deep technical understanding with strong program leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions on time and on budget.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in technical program management, solution architecture, or a hybrid of both, supporting complex enterprise or IoT deployments, with hands-on experience using Python and SQL.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end delivery of large, multi-stakeholder technical programs.
• Strong technical understanding of IoT, networking, cloud platforms, and system integration.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong customer-facing effectiveness across internal and external audiences.
• Track record of working in fast-paced environments, balancing technical, operational, and commercial priorities.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related area or a combination of relevant certifications and job experience.
• This role may require travel of up to 50%, depending on business and customer needs.

Nice To Haves

• Background in supply chain or warehouse environments, with exposure to RF or Bluetooth networks, SaaS platforms, cloud services, or enterprise software deployments.
• Familiarity with asset tracking, warehouse operations, or industrial IoT.
• Experience leading programs or solutions.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers in a client-facing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Own the full solution delivery lifecycle, from architecture design to execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Wiliot standards.
• Translate customer requirements into technical architectures and implementation plans.
• Build and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones across all ANDC functions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of all components.
• Act as the main technical lead in front of customers and internal stakeholders, leading kickoffs, status updates, and milestone reviews.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, surface blockers, and drive resolution.
• Ensure technical designs meet quality standards and integrate into cohesive, scalable deployments.
• Partner with Customer Success and Sales to enable a smooth handoff post-deployment and capture lessons learned to refine future methods.
• Contribute to the evolution of Wiliot’s deployment frameworks, tools, and best practices.
