About The Position

This role is pivotal in bridging complex data analytics with client business needs, demonstrating the value of solutions through technical expertise and compelling storytelling. The Solutions Engineer partners closely with sales teams to support strategic accounts, delivering customized product demonstrations, managing proofs of concept, and validating data accuracy to ensure measurable business outcomes. You will be responsible for understanding clients’ technical environments, translating insights into actionable strategies, and guiding both pre- and post-sale activities. The position offers opportunities to influence product innovation, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute directly to business growth. The ideal candidate combines technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a passion for solving real-world business problems with data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales support or Solutions Engineer roles, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, proficient in at least one tool such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, or GIS platforms
  • Strong understanding of statistics and data science concepts
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience with demonstrated ability to communicate complex insights effectively
  • Experience working cross-functionally on projects with technical and business teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel approximately 35% of the time for client meetings

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical validation efforts, including demos, proofs of concept, and data trials for strategic accounts
  • Translate customer needs and discovery insights into ROI-focused narratives for executive and technical stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales on account planning, strategy, and execution for high-value opportunities and expansions
  • Validate solution accuracy and methodology within customer-specific business environments
  • Drive post-sale enablement, empowering clients to independently achieve success with the platform
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to influence product roadmap and feature development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on technical and commercial goals
