Job Description: This job is responsible for defining the engineering approach within an end-to-end technology stack. This job will align to a technical domain but acts as contributor to multiple cross functional teams. Key responsibilities include engaging in development and production environments to identify and improve performance/capacity issues and creating and ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise standards. Job expectations include providing and contributing to improvements in solution design, testing, and delivery practices. The Corporate Mobile organization forms part of Employee Experience Technology (EET) and is responsible for the Bank’s Mobile strategy, managing a portfolio of mobile products and services for over 130,0000 Mobile devices globally.

Requirements

  • Mobile MDM.. Management Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Blackberry UEM or VMware Workspace one
  • Mobile Operating systems… Detailed understand of Mobile Operating systems including Apple iOS and Android
  • Vulnerability Management… Experience setting up and enforcing security Policies, Managing device compliance and associated risks
  • Automation and Scripting… Good understanding in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automating MDM tasks
  • Cloud Infrastructure… Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, hybrid exchange environment and identity management systems like “Entra ID”
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving … Strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mobile
  • Project implementation… Experience with rolling out MDM solutions, managing migrations and implementing new features
  • Support and documentation… Experience with end-user support, ticket management and creating documentation
  • Communications… Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with global teams and explaining technical issues

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that execution aligns with product strategy by working with product management, product owners, and other stakeholders, contributing to the technology strategy for their technical domain
  • Collaborates with Development and Infrastructure teams to understand technical solutions and provide the performance capabilities required in the application across the technology stack put forward by Solution Engineer Lead
  • Mentors and guides more junior Engineers ensuring system design technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
  • The role requires a collegial yet assertive approach when working among, coordinating with but ultimately ensuring compliance of all Architecture, Engineering and Operational standards.
  • The person will be part of an amazing engineering team who have responsibility for engineering activities on our current global mobile platform as well as future state deliverables working with multiple technologies, reporting to a Senior Mobile Engineer within the team.
  • Application configuration and engineering of our existing platform with a strategic view on our future state
  • Deliver an amazing employee experience of our products and services, with an automation first mindset
  • Liaison with Global Information Security, Operations, Product, Engineering, Architecture and Vendors to deliver robust mobile platforms and solutions
  • Management of technical input into Book of Work Entries via JIRA
  • Development of high and low level designs to meet bank requirements and security demands
  • Execution of testing and validation in lower level environments
  • Continual ownership for the accuracy and completeness of all technical documentation
  • Represent technical requirements for the deployment of new services
  • Participate in regular requirements meetings to groom backlog and agree feature releases
  • Provide best practice application engineering framework and architecture to ensure performant and functional mobile solutions
