Solutions Engineer

LushaBoston, MA

About The Position

At Lusha, we are building for builders. We move fast, and we look for people who turn a "maybe" into "done." We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to be the technical engine behind our most complex deals and high-value customers. This role is not about following a manual. It’s about architecting solutions that move Lusha from a tool to a core piece of integrated infrastructure. You will own the technical journey from start to finish. You’ll validate complex use cases during the pre-sales phase and build automated data workflows that secure long-term customer retention. You will be the bridge between our customers' operations teams and our API, making sure our data lives exactly where the customer needs it. This role is based in our Boston office. We work in a hybrid model, with 2 days a week in the office. This might be for you if: You like owning a technical outcome and being accountable for the final sign-off. You enjoy building high-scale automated workflows rather than just running standard demos. You can translate a business problem into a technical architecture. You are comfortable leading deep-dive technical consultations with RevOps and CTOs. You thrive in fast-moving environments where you often need to build the solution as you go. You care about impact, clean data, and improving how different systems talk to each other. You use APIs and middleware to solve problems that native integrations can't handle.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as a Solutions Engineer, Technical Solutions Consultant, Integration Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
  • CRM Expertise: Hands-on experience with Salesforce and HubSpot, specifically with field mapping, custom objects, and workflow logic.
  • API Knowledge: Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience navigating technical documentation to test endpoints.
  • SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Postman: Previous experience using Postman for API validation and troubleshooting.
  • Workflow Automation: Experience using connectors like Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, or similar middleware to move data between systems.
  • Communication: The ability to explain the difference between a simple knowledge gap and a complex technical gap to people who aren't technical.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the Sales Intelligence or RevTech space.
  • A background in Sales Operations or RevOps.
  • Experience working with Databricks or large-scale data warehouses.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve your own daily efficiency and output.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Discovery and Validation: You will deep dive into prospect stacks to remove technical blockers. You'll lead the "Proof of Data" process, analyzing match rates and hit rates to prove ROI before a deal is signed.
  • Technical Onboarding: Own the initial technical success for new customers. You’ll lead the live configuration of CRM integrations and API setups, executing the first automated workflow to ensure immediate adoption and value.
  • Technical Consulting and Implementation: You will act as the fixer for unhealthy accounts. You'll diagnose gaps and build custom implementations using Webhooks, APIs, or connectors.
  • Internal Feedback Loop: Act as the technical voice of the customer. You will partner with our Product and Engineering teams to escalate bugs, prioritize feature requests, and help shape the product roadmap based on real-world field requirements.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Manage technical objections across different teams, including Security, IT, and RevOps, to ensure Lusha becomes a permanent part of the customer's stack.
