This role is crucial in bridging the gap between our advanced technology capabilities and our customers' operational needs. The ideal candidate will be the technical voice of Apex, providing deep technical expertise, influencing product roadmaps, and ensuring customer success in deploying and maximizing our solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required
  • 3+ years of related industry experience, preferably in a technical solutions role within financial services, technology, or a related sector.
  • Technical Aptitude: Solid technical foundation with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling technical challenges and translating them into actionable solutions.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acting with customers in mind.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred.
  • Experience in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, or Go preferred
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly beneficial.
  • Real-Time Data Processing: Familiarity with Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Google Pub/Sub is advantageous.
  • Monitoring and DevOps: Knowledge of monitoring tools and DevOps practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Demonstration: Showcase and design persuasive technological solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and technological capabilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Development: Gain or enhance expertise in the core technologies driving banking and brokerage to effectively address and anticipate customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Remain actively involved in the post-sales process, continually engaging with customers to refine and optimize the deployment of solutions based on evolving needs.
  • Architectural Leadership: Lead detailed architecture discussions, design complex solutions, and guide customers through successful infrastructure operations.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the technical advocate for customers within Apex, translating complex customer requirements to the engineering and product teams to inform product development.
  • Strategic Communication: Serve as the technical spokesperson for Apex in field interactions, confidently presenting technical concepts to both technical teams and C-suite executives.
  • Roadmap Influence: Ensure that Apex's product roadmaps align effectively with both current and prospective customer requirements, advocating for necessary changes or enhancements.
