About The Position

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Solutions Developer for a Hybrid, Florida-based role - expected to travel to office in Saint Petersburg when requested. This is Contractor - role that will transition to FTE. Overview: We are looking for a Senior Solutions Developer with strong coding experience, data expertise, and a solid understanding of operational business processes. This role will involve building advanced solutions on the Platform, integrating external systems, and helping shape best practices for scalable development. You will also support technical innovation and mentor junior developers, leveraging your data and software background to drive impactful outcomes.

Requirements

• Strong software development skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar)
• Proven ability to solve complex technical and architectural challenges
• Strong leadership in setting development standards and guiding technical direction
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong background in data, including data modeling, data transformation, and architectural data design
• Expertise in relational databases and SQL
• Experience with designing and implementing API integrations (REST, webhooks, etc)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Quickly master the Platform's capabilities, design principles, and solution patterns
• Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable business applications
• Define and promote best practices for solution design, development, and architecture on the Platform
• Develop integrations with external API-enabled systems, such as ERPs, procurement tools, and enterprise data platforms
• Lead efforts in data modeling, data flows, and architectural data planning for solutions
• Build reusable components and utilities to streamline future application development
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Review and optimize platform-based solutions to ensure high quality and alignment with business goals
• Mentor and provide technical support to mid-level developers
