About The Position

As the Solutions Architect at GS1 US, you will play an important role in shaping the future of our enterprise platforms, integrations, and AI-driven capabilities. You will provide hands-on architectural leadership across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations, Azure integrations, enterprise data architecture, and intelligent solutions that align technology with business strategy.

Requirements

• You demonstrate outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to translate complex architectural and AI-driven concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical teams and executive stakeholders alike. Your strong organizational abilities and attention to detail allow you to balance long-term architectural vision with near-term delivery priorities.
• Analytical thinking is one of your core strengths. You excel at designing scalable, secure, and intelligent enterprise systems that integrate CRM, ERP, data, and analytics platforms. You approach challenges with curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem and emerging AI capabilities.
• Your educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• You bring 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Finance & Operations, deep expertise in Azure integration services, and demonstrated experience incorporating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive End-to-End Solution Architecture
• Lead hands-on design and governance across Dynamics 365 CE and Finance & Operations, guiding configuration versus customization decisions and ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices.
• Architect Azure Integration and Enterprise Connectivity
• Design and guide implementation of secure, scalable integrations using Azure services such as Service Bus, Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, and Data Factory. Establish API-first and event-driven architecture patterns to enable enterprise connectivity.
• Embed AI and Intelligent Capabilities
• Identify and architect opportunities to incorporate AI-driven solutions within Dynamics 365 and integrated systems, leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services, Machine Learning, and analytics platforms. Partner with Data and Analytics teams to operationalize predictive and prescriptive insights within business workflows.
• Lead Platform Governance and Lifecycle Management
• Oversee environment strategy, application lifecycle management processes, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. Evaluate ISV solutions and proactively assess Microsoft roadmap updates to recommend modernization and enhancement initiatives.
• Strengthen Data Architecture and Governance
• Define and enforce enterprise data architecture standards across D365 and integrated systems. Guide master data management strategy, ensure cross-system consistency, and establish governance practices that support operational efficiency, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Translate Strategy into a Multi-Year Technology Roadmap
• Partner with business leaders to align technical architecture with strategic objectives, identify modernization priorities, reduce technical debt, and balance immediate delivery needs with long-term scalability.
• Provide Technical Leadership and Mentorship
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex architectural decisions, facilitate design workshops, and promote architectural discipline, documentation standards, and governance frameworks across teams.
