The Solutions Architect role involves defining architectural options, documenting tradeoffs, risks, and considerations for project execution, and contributing to the development of strategy and roadmap for applications. This position is responsible for the overall design of project solutions, especially when new technology or critical architecture changes are introduced. The architect will support business and technology innovation, help develop IT investment roadmaps, and create deliverables to strategically advance the business. They will also consult with line-of-business partners on defining business capabilities, processes, and technologies, support enterprise architecture development, facilitate agreement on work models, and consult on business-facing projects, while researching new technologies and competitor practices.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Application, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Solution Architect, Software Engineer, or a related position
  • Experience with Language Skills: Java 17/21 and Python 3.x
  • Experience with User experience Dev framework: Angularjs and Nodejs
  • Experience with Full Stack framework: Spring Core, MVC, Rest Services, Boot, Security and JPA
  • Experience with Middle Ware: Apigee, Spring Integration, Kafka, or Elastic Search
  • Experience with Distributed Data Processing systems: Spark, Spark SQL, Databricks
  • Experience with RDBMS: Oracle 9i Architecture and Administration, MySQL, DB2
  • Experience with DevSecOps Tools: Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, Snyk, Digitalai Deploy, GitHub, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Cloud / Platform: Azure cloud, Docker, Podman, OpenShift, Terraform, and GitOps

Responsibilities

  • Define architectural options and document tradeoffs, risks and considerations for project execution, and contribute to the development for the strategy and roadmap for applications aligned to a capability portfolio.
  • Responsible for the overall design of project solutions, particularly where new technology or critical architecture changes are introduced.
  • Support business and technology innovation that drives the organization’s top and bottom lines.
  • Support stakeholders involved in business technology strategy and innovation to develop an IT investment roadmap.
  • Support the organization's business technology strategy and how the organization currently approaches innovation.
  • Create deliverables that illustrate how to strategically move the business forward.
  • Provide consultation to assigned line-of-business (LOB) or business unit (BU) partners in defining or designing business capabilities, processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing, selling and enabling technologies based on business and end-user requirements.
  • Support enterprise architecture development, including business architecture, information architecture, application portfolio and technical architecture.
  • Facilitate agreement on organizational work models and processes to meet business requirements.
  • Consult on business-facing projects and maintain knowledge of their progress.
  • Support the enterprise program management office on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits.
  • Seek ways to apply new technology to and reuse existing technology for business processes.
  • Research and provide information on technical trends and competitors' practices relevant to assigned line-of-business (LOB) or business unit (BU) partners.
