About The Position

Amazon internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work onsite Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week for 12 consecutive weeks typically between 8am-5pm. Are you a motivated technologist with a unique blend of curiosity, technical chops, and strong interpersonal skills? Do you want to help us build new things and evangelize use of AWS with customers? As a solutions architect intern, you will receive AWS technical training, immerse yourself in cloud computing concepts, have the opportunity to develop business acumen. The solutions architects (SA) organization is a diverse team that focuses on helping customers build infrastructures and applications at scale using AWS solutions. Requirements

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to a 12 week internship maximum
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors or greater degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related fields with a graduation date between December 2026 and September 2027
  • Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
  • Experience with Gen AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning (ML), etc
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with one or more of the following technical domains: analytics, security, storage, Dev Ops, or application development

Nice To Haves

  • AWS or industry certifications
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions to both small and large audiences
  • Experience applying established frameworks and design patterns to deliver working software through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or previous internships

Responsibilities

  • Create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services
  • Interface with customer stakeholders, including developers and team leads
  • Drive effective feedback gathering from customers, distill and translate feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams
