The Opportunity "FICO is looking for an addition to our talented and successful Global Platform Software Sales. As a member of this team, you will represent FICO’s flagship software offering called FICO Platform. FICO’s Platform Sales role is a sales role, and you will partner with Key Account Managers as well as both Technical & Industry Pre-Sales teams to round out the go-to-market. This role carries a quota for a dedicated set of Enterprise Accounts within their region comprised of both existing and target Platform customers. You will be responsible for driving initial adoption (Land) and growth (Expand) of Platform by educating and inspiring our customers about the enormous opportunity to empower business and technical users to leverage FICO’s decisioning Platform as the ‘brain and central nervous system’ for the creation and iteration of customers journeys that involve data, analytics, AI and strategy design and execution across the enterprise. You’ll be the go-to person for technical and business knowledge on FICO’s Platform. This platform can help solve complex business and technology challenges for customers within Banking, Insurance, Telco, and Automotive." - Hiring Manager What You’ll Contribute Work with existing and new customers to understand their key initiatives in Consumer Lending and Retail Banking across Marketing, Originations, Customer Management, Personalization, Collections and Fraud.

Requirements

  • Proven Senior-Level Relationship Experience: Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic relationships with senior executives, particularly within large financial institutions.
  • Enterprise Solution Sales Expertise: A track record of structuring and closing complex, multi-million-dollar deals, including SaaS-based solutions that expand existing offerings or integrate into larger solution bundles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with banking, credit risk, fraud prevention, account management, and consumer lending. Experience in applying technologies such as machine learning, AI, decision management, and optimization is highly desirable.
  • Technology Knowledge: Good level of familiarity and ability to speak about Architecture, Integration, Cloud, AI, Decisioning, Automation, Analytics and Optimization to key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Vision and Execution: Ability to craft and execute joint business plans that align with client objectives and FICO’s strategic priorities.
  • Growth Mindset: A Passion to learn and educate customers and FICO colleagues through presentations, and conversations. Strong soft skills, a genuine interest in people and a desire to help them be wildly successful.
  • Resiliency: Able to maintain focus and effectiveness under pressure, adaptable to change, and recover quickly from setbacks.
  • Collaborative Leadership: A team-oriented mindset that values collaboration and leverages the collective strengths of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% to maintain a close partnership with the client and foster meaningful, face-to-face interactions.
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.

  • A HUGE PLUS: Proven Sales and/or Senior Pre-sales experience for 3 or more years in organizations such as SAS, PEGA, Provenir, IBM, Feedzai or any Technology consulting company.

Responsibilities

  • Share expertise and thought leadership in Decisioning, AI, Analytics, & Optimization within Financial Services with the goal of helping our clients leapfrog the competition leveraging FICO’s cutting-edge Platform.
  • Build relationships with senior client stakeholders in Business and Technology to gain insights into their most urgent decision management related problems while articulating FICO’s platform capabilities.
  • Research and shape potential solution opportunities through collaborative engagement with internal Key Account Managers, Pre-Sales Domain Experts and Pre-Sales Architects to formulate and effectively position solution proposals.
  • Ensure clients are delighted with solutions purchased to create win-win relationships that are long-term, expanding, and profitable.
  • Collaborate across internal FICO teams including Global Solution Architecture, Product Management, Finance and Professional Services to shape a cohesive sales effort that educates our customers on the tremendous business value the FICO Platform delivers.
  • Work with the largest and most advanced Financial Institutions as well as a core set of leaders in other sectors.
  • Manage sales to quarterly and annual targets, with significant earnings upside when targets are exceeded.
