About The Position

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Solution Leader - Global Simplification and Innovation in Contracting (GSINC) supporting Legal and Procurement, located in New Brunswick, NJ. This position is within the Global Enterprise Solutions and Experience (GESE) product group within Corporate Business Technology in Johnson & Johnson Technology. This is a duration-based role that is set to end March of 2029. Do you seek big, complex, ambiguous problems? This position will work at the intersection of business strategy, human-centered design, and emerging technology platform/program delivery and will lead the digital strategy development & technology capability execution for Global Simplification and Innovation in Contracting program with the GESE Team. Reporting to the Enterprise Procurement & Contracting Domain Lead in CBT team, you will own, lead, and run execution of core capabilities of GSINC Technology Strategy and partner closely with global and regional process owners and functions to improve the Programs execution and delivery. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of three technical workstreams under the GSINC program. You will effectively engage functional leaders in developing J&J Technology as an advantage and enabler of digitization for the enterpise!

Requirements

  • Required minimum education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related technology experience in a technical field or related subject area.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with others at multiple levels within the organization
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, prioritization skills, and facilitating escalated issues to resolution
  • Demonstrated experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production, ideally in contract analysis, NLP, or document automation.
  • Solution thinking: ability to translate business objectives into pragmatic technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Able to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to management effectively
  • Delivery leadership: experience running iterative delivery (Agile/Scrum), managing third‑party vendors, and meeting deadlines/budgets.
  • Demonstrable ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations and attention to detail required
  • Technical fluency: familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems, NLP/AI tools, data pipelines, and integration patterns.
  • Communication and influence: excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to executives and lead stakeholder workshops.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively expertly and confidently with internal and external partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes
  • Change management: proven ability to drive user adoption, training programs, and process change.
  • Portfolio Management: Able to manage portfolio, including resource leveling, budget management, and delivery to timelines; all including associated monitoring and controlling.
  • Data governance & compliance: understanding of privacy, security, and regulatory implications for contract data and AI.
  • Fluency in English is required (other languages are beneficial)

Responsibilities

  • “Technology strategist” who spans multiple technology products and platforms aligned to a user journey (e.g., employee experience)
  • Serve as the solution owner accountable for planning, delivery, adoption, and value realization of the three GSINC technology workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain the solution roadmap, priorities, and business case; align stakeholders across Legal, Procurement, IT, Compliance, and Business Units.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate external vendors, driving agile delivery, risk management, and change management.
  • Define success metrics, track benefits realization (cost, cycle time, FTE impact, leakage avoidance), and report progress to executive sponsors.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements and integrate with enterprise architecture.
  • Ensuring that security and technical architectures are in line with the overall Business needs and strategy work with architecture teams
  • Works across multiple groups and function in CBT, business, and TS to shape and deliver innovation solutions
  • Understands core internal IT products and ability to drive business value
  • Engage and work with Domain Leads, business, BPOs, TPOs, PTLs, and others to shape & design technology solutions
  • Partner with external organizations and vendors to influence the direction of the improvements and functionality.
  • Leads all aspects of delivery of business technology projects & the ongoing operation of cohesive, integrated solutions with full JJT engagement
  • Direct collaboration with business & customers/suppliers shaping, crafting and delivering strategic solutions
  • Apply value realization for new technology solutions & work with Product Owners to ensure the development of a product vision, roadmap & backlog
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive them into a solution that addresses the business needs
  • High level of flexibility to ensure responsibility for the shape & design of projects required throughout any multi area of the business and cross domain solutions
  • Confident communicator within the technical and business environments with ability to interpret, develop and present information to multiple audiences
  • Develops, coaches and mentors a robust motivated team
  • Steer the squad to deliver products / platforms features / work oriented around business impact
  • Drive increased usage of the products across the segments and franchises through new deployments and the addition of new features and enhancements to the platforms
  • Collaborate directly with the business product owner and product vendor to shape and influence vendor product roadmaps
  • Shape and prioritize backlog, utilizing business expertise and understanding of customer needs, translate requirements into user stories & acceptance criteria
  • Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle
  • Collaborate to ensure all partners are clear on product roadmap activities, design, interdependencies and timelines
