About the Role: Overview This asset specific role for each of the Programs enables the Sales team during the sales process to allow our clients to understand how our product and services will meet their requirements, which will be fully documented in a formal scope of work. The team is responsible for producing and ensuring any scope maintains the standards for implementation requirements, for work to be delivered by the Technical Project Management (TPM) teams in Professional Services. There will also be participation in the product life cycle in conjunction with Product Strategy and the Product team, feeding in business requirements, participating in development prioritisation and aiding in specifications. You will be involved in working with the relevant teams across Osttra to ensure you have a detailed understanding of the commercial and strategic direction of the program, whilst responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities of a Solution Design Manager. The Budget range of $90,000 USD - $110,000 USD. Role Responsibilities Solution Design Manager key focus – enabling and ensuring the sale process produces a proposed implementation which is fully scalable and supportable, with assumptions and limitations identified. Solution Design Manager: The Solution Design Manager [SDM] is an industry and Traiana services SME, capable of guiding clients through requirements gathering, and advising the implementation team internally on business requirements, when questions come up over the course of a project. The SDM is familiar with Traiana's service policies, business and technical, and will escalate requirements that do not conform to our policies for internal review. Pre-Sales: Following initial discussions between Sales and the client, and after the client's business goal is understood, the SDM is responsible for pre-sales business and technical requirements gathering. The SDM will partner with the client and Sales (and other teams as appropriate) to ensure that the solution we offer best meets the client’s needs and fits within OSTTRA’s ecosystem. Scope Preparation: The SDM prepares a detailed scope document covering all planned messaging flows, message formats, connectivity, specific mapping requirements, special processing, and assumptions and limitations. The document will require client sign-off before an SOW is signed. The scope (as well as the spec and samples, where applicable) will be handed over to the Technical Project Manager as a blueprint to build a solution. It will cover everything needed to plan the technical implementation. Integration Specification: The SDM will check that the messages the client will send to Traiana meets either: · Standard Traiana Implementation requirements · Has more custom messaging requirements, in which case the SDM will work with a TPM Manager to create a bespoke integration specification. Product Strategy Liaison: As requirements gathering conversations with clients may help identify strategic opportunities, the SDM will report new requirement types and broad interest in specific functionality to the Product Strategy team. Training: The SDM will present service and application overviews to new joiners in Professional Services and additional overview/training to Client Services and Sales where required. Escalation Contact: The SDM will assist with production issues where the root cause may be a new requirement, or the product/service scope currently supported is not clear.
