About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Solutions Consulting, the Solution Consultant is a key contributor in building and scaling a repeatable, customer-centric demonstration framework that aligns Clariti solutions to customer needs and values. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and consultative communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences. As a Solution Consultant, you will design and deliver focused sales demonstrations for a broad range of State and Local Government agencies. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, sales, and partner teams to create compelling first impressions and support successful sales outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Sales Engineer or Solution Consultant experience in a SaaS environment and/or at least 2 years of experience with Clariti software implementations and/or at least 5 years of GovTech industry experience, preferably in community development
  • Experience with the Salesforce platform
  • Ability to align cross-functional teams around shared customer needs and objectives
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
  • Proven client relationship management and solution-oriented customer engagement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong active listening abilities
  • Demonstrated technical project management experience, including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Travel is required within North America (up to 50% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Customer Demonstrations: Prepare, lead, and deliver strategic technical product demonstrations that articulate functional capabilities, competitive differentiation, and business value aligned to customer requirements.
  • Support sales engagements through product demonstrations at vendor-sponsored events, trade shows, and user group meetings.
  • Partner with sales, product, and partner teams to capture customer needs and functional requirements, incorporate them into solution prototypes, and effectively present final demonstrations.
  • Strategic Solutioning: Provide technical leadership and solution guidance across sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales and partner teams to define customer engagement objectives and align activities to overall account and sales strategies.
  • Analyze complex customer scenarios requiring evaluation of multiple variables, exercising judgment in selecting appropriate methods, tools, and solution approaches.
  • Develop and deliver advanced, customized solution prototypes and executive-level presentations using appropriate applications and tools.
  • Collaboration: Internal: Establish trusted partnerships with Sales Leads and account stakeholders to provide functional and technical guidance, set accurate expectations, and support customer satisfaction.
  • External: Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships to gain deeper insight into customer environments, business needs, and organizational context.
  • Trusted Advisor: Lead technical discovery sessions and respond to architecture and infrastructure-related inquiries as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Clariti products, technical capabilities, and relevant industry trends.
  • Evaluate RFxs for technical fit, feasibility, and alignment with Clariti solutions.
