About The Position

Piper Companies is seeking a Solution Architect to join a leading financial services organization in Wayne, PA for a hybrid opportunity. This role is critical for designing and guiding IT solutions within a specific business domain (Digital, Mid-Office, Back-Office), ensuring alignment with business processes and strategic objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and architecting IT solutions
• Experience with Pega technologies, including cloud solutions and integration with non-Pega environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments within IT and financial services
• University-level education and practical experience with architecture frameworks
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to coach Agile engineers and convey IT concepts in business terms

Responsibilities

• Align with business stakeholders to understand processes and translate requirements into IT solutions
• Organize solution design activities and involve appropriate stakeholders
• Design solutions within architectural boundaries and capture direction in Product Solution Architecture (PSA)
• Obtain approvals for architecture artifacts from business stakeholders and architecture teams
• Provide guidance and coaching to Agile engineers and support successful adoption of new technology
• Collaborate with the Lead Architect to co-create architecture roadmaps and plans aligned with business strategy
• Maintain architecture repository and coordinate architecture backlog for the business domain
• Monitor implementation of solutions to ensure compliance with PSAs
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve the IT landscape within the domain
