Soldering Technician
About The Position
Soldering thru-hole, and hand-soldering. May also use hand tools to make precision repairs. Assembling circuit boards and other electrical equipment according to specifications and quality standards. Inspecting finished products for soldering defects or quality issues, and assessing if rework or repairs are needed. Preparing work areas and equipment Gathering components needed to meet production schedules Setting up equipment and solders components together Managing and performing soldering of surface mount components on PC boards Working under a microscope on electronic assemblies in an ESD protected area Soldering electrical connections Wiring lead preparation Minor assembly and inspection Crimping Potting Meeting production and quality standards
